Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of planning and scheduling.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure and compute amounts as needed.
• Effective verbal communication with management and coworkers.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret work orders and specifications; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Generate master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates.
• Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation; release production work orders.
• Expedite parts for customers and operations to meet schedules and adapt to unforeseen changes.
• Evaluate exception requests and communicate approvals or disapprovals.
• Review engineering changes and locate parts to meet revision requirements.
• Create rework orders for parts that need rework.
