Job summary

Veranova seeks a Master Scheduler to be the engine room of site operations at Devens, MA. You will bridge long-term planning with daily scheduling, driving S&OP improvements, and ensuring schedules meet Ready to Execute milestones in a regulated API/Biologics environment.

This on-site role requires 5+ years in planning within pharma/biotech, strong D365 and Saviom experience, and the ability to analyze complex data and lead cross-functional meetings with Finance, BD, and Operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years in planning or engineering in pharma/biotech manufacturing.
  • CDMO experience preferred; ability to pivot with client needs.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft D365 and Saviom or similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain site capacity forecast in Saviom and daily schedule in D365.
  • Align R&D, Clinical, and Commercial timelines for utilization and efficiency.
  • Drive Ready to Execute milestones and maintain high schedule adherence.
  • Lead implementation of an integrated S&OP process with cross-functional meetings.
  • Evaluate scheduling tools and identify AI or data analytics opportunities for predictive modeling.
  • Ensure scheduling changes remain compliant with cGMP and manage quality events in QMS (Veeva Vault).

Role Overview

We are seeking a Master Scheduler who thrives in high-complexity, fast-paced environments. This isn’t just a data entry role - you will be the \"engine room\" of our site operations, bridging the gap between long-term strategic planning and daily execution. You will play a pivotal role in evolving our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and leveraging technology to navigate the intricacies of contract manufacturing.

This role is 100% on site 1st shift at our Devens, MA facility.

Core Responsibilities
  • Maintain the high-level site capacity and resource forecast withinSaviomwhile simultaneously managing the granular, day-to-day production schedule in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Ensure alignment between R&D, Clinical, and Commercial timelines to maximize suiteutilizationand labor efficiency.
  • Drive the site toward achieving \"Ready to Execute\" (RTE) milestones andmaintaininghigh \"Schedule Adherence\" percentages.
  • Lead the implementation of a fully integrated S&OP process,facilitatingcross-functional meetings to align Finance, Business Development, and Operations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current scheduling tools.Identifyopportunities for AI integration or advanced data analytics to improve predictive modeling and bottleneck identification.
  • Experience in a regulated environment (API/Biologics) and familiarity with platforms like Veeva is a significant plus.
  • Ability to forecast 6-18 monthsout while managing the next 24 hours.Aggregate and interpret complex datasets across multiple platforms to provide actionable insights for site leadership.
  • Communication Bridge: Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external clientsregardingtimeline commitments and capacity constraints.
  • Quality Integration: Author and manage quality events (Deviations, CAPAs, or Change Controls) within our QMS (Veeva Vault), ensuring that scheduling changesremaincompliant with cGMP standards.
  • Additional duties to support team objective and contribute to the Veranova mission may evolve based on business needs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; 5+ years of progressive experience in planning or engineering, ideally within pharmaceutical, biotech, or specialty chemical manufacturing.
  • CDMOexperiencepreferred.You understand the unique \"pivoting\"requiredin a contract manufacturing environment where client needs and project scopes can shift rapidly.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft D365 and resource management software (likeSaviom) is highly preferred.
  • Ability tolook at disparate data points and see the \"big picture\" of site capacity, helping the business navigate complexity with strategic foresight.High emotional intelligence with the ability to translate technical constraints into business impacts for stakeholders.
  • Exceptional ability to resolve resource conflicts and timeline bottlenecks;Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and follow-through in complex, cross-functional environments;Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiencywith ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, orMicrosoft D365) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Comfortablewith/able to thrive in conditions of change and complexity.
  • Proven and strong project and change managementcapabilities.;Strong analytical and qualitative skillsdesirable.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time while in plant.
Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$95,000. This range represents a good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In exceptional cases, compensation may exceed the stated range.

All full-time employees are eligible to participate in our annual incentive bonus program. Bonus targets vary by career level and are based on individual and company performance.
