This role serves as a key liaison between customers, operations, planning, engineering, and IT to ensure data alignment, system health, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted material flow within a safety‑ and quality‑driven environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and process EDI transmissions from LM customers, including VIN handling and downloading daily EDI requirements such as forecasts (830) and shipping schedules (862).

Analyze daily (862) and weekly (830) releases to verify completeness, identify risks, and provide recommendations while monitoring capacity constraints and volume variances. Publish a weekly report to the LM management team with a clear interpretation of risks and opportunities.

Communicate clearly with customers regarding capacity violations and their overall impact.

  • Maintain SAP master data for part master records and BOMs, ensuring all enginering changes are properly timed and tracked in SAP, and that SAP remains aligned with the PLM+ system.
  • Support and actively participate in the development of BOMs in collaboration with internal and external cross‑functional teams.
  • Maintain and publish a SKU‑to‑BOM report in LM SharePoint to provide cross‑functional teams with easy access to BOM breakdowns for their seats.
  • Maintain the SAP material master for finished goods to ensure accurate SKU cross‑referencing. Coordinate new BOM setups in SAP with the Launch team to initiate the SKU Configuration table managed by the Launch Coordinator.
  • Perform daily and weekly cycle counts as assigned by the Materials Manager to ensure KPI compliance.
  • Prepare and process obsolescence claims in support of Finance and Materials Manager.
  • Ensure that Health, safety and Environmental standards are adhered to in accordance with the LM Charter and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
