Job summary

Peace River Center seeks a Masters-level therapist in Bartow, FL for the OnTrack program. You will provide individual, family, and group therapy, developing and evaluating treatment goals within a multidisciplinary team.

Strong clinical skills and experience with severe mental illness are required. You will document progress, coordinate with families and community agencies, and participate in weekly staff meetings and treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health Sciences or equivalent.
• Experience with clinical or rehabilitation settings serving persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses, including adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group therapy for an assigned group, develop and revise treatment goals and plans.
• Complete daily progress notes in Credible and assessments per program policies.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of all program participants.
• Coordinate with community agencies and families to maintain treatment coordination.
• Provide on-call crisis intervention as assigned.
• Document progress to maintain permanent records.
• Participate in staff meetings and treatment planning reviews.
• Conduct needs assessments and safety/ wellness planning with participants.
• Engage in SDM-based clinical assessments of social functioning and substance use.
• Provide psychoeducation and Social Skills Training, Substance Abuse Treatment and Behavioral Activation.
