Location: Belding SUD Programs
Status: Full Time 40 hours per week
Wage: Starting at $57,200 annually...and based on applicable experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, in-office
Position Overview
As a Master’s Clinician specializing in Substance Use Disorder, you will deliver person-centered clinical services to individuals and families navigating addiction and mental health challenges. This role combines therapy, care coordination, and community engagement to support recovery and long-term wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans, including family involvement when appropriate
- Provide individual and family therapy as well as case management support
- Coordinate care with families and external stakeholders such as schools, probation, medical providers, and community partners
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including service plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Monitor treatment quality and assess effectiveness in achieving client goals
- Conduct community outreach, networking, and marketing to build referral sources and partnerships
- Represent Samaritas’ mission and values with professionalism and integrity
- Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and organizational trainings
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements

Education and Licensure
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Fully licensed clinicians preferred; limited license candidates will be considered
Experience
- Minimum one year of SUD counseling experience preferred
- Two years of clinical experience working with substance use populations preferred
- Experience working in a team-based or interdisciplinary environment preferred
- Familiarity with SUD documentation standards preferred
