Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Master Project Scheduler (Contingent Hire) to lead the development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules for complex DoD programs. The role partners with program managers, engineering, operations, and government stakeholders to ensure milestones and critical paths are accurately tracked.

Candidate must have DoD Top Secret clearance, a bachelor’s in a technical field, PMP or equivalent, and 5+ years in project scheduling. On-site location in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• PM/PMO certification (PMP or equivalent) and experience required.
• Minimum 5 years in project management, scheduling, or security program management.
• Expert proficiency with MS Project family tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex programs.
• Coordinate schedule development with program management, engineering, operations, and government customers.
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and milestone tracking.
• Monitor schedule performance and recommend corrective actions to meet objectives.
• Prepare schedule status reports and executive briefings with metrics.
• Support proposal development by maintaining compliant program schedules.
• Ensure scheduling activities comply with contractual requirements and standards.
• Provide scheduling expertise across multiple projects while preserving integrity.
