Job summary

LHH is seeking a highly organized Master Production Scheduler in Elmhurst, IL to oversee and optimize production scheduling, resource planning, and workflow coordination within our manufacturing operations. Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive master production schedules aligning customer demand, capacity, materials, and business objectives to minimize delays and optimize inventory.

Salary is $85K-$115K with a 10% annual bonus, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex production schedules in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and adapt to changing production demands.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute production schedules to meet customer requirements and business goals.
• Coordinate production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, material availability, and manufacturing capacity.
• Monitor labor, equipment, and material resources to identify and resolve scheduling constraints and production bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Inventory Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Service teams to ensure effective production execution.
• Utilize ERP and MRP systems to manage production planning, material requirements, and inventory optimization.
• Track production performance, capacity utilization, and schedule adherence while recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Prepare production forecasts, operational reports, KPI dashboards, and capacity analyses to support business decision‑making.
