Job summary

Qnity is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to lead master scheduling and production planning, ensuring alignment of materials, resources, and capacity with demand and business objectives.

This high-visibility role partners with manufacturing, procurement, customer service, logistics, and commercial teams to support on-time delivery and operational excellence. Sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, supply chain planning, manufacturing operations, or a related discipline.
  • Experience developing and managing master production schedules in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems, inventory management, capacity planning, and supply planning processes.
  • Experience analyzing demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production requirements to support business objectives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the master production schedule to support customer demand, inventory targets, and business priorities.
  • Balance production capacity, material availability, and customer requirements to optimize service levels and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze demand forecasts, inventory positions, and capacity constraints to identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate closely with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure supply continuity.
  • Monitor key planning metrics including inventory levels, schedule attainment, forecast accuracy, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and supply review activities by providing data-driven recommendations and scenario analysis.
  • Manage production priorities and communicate schedule changes to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization, planning efficiency, lead time reduction, and service performance.
  • Support new product introductions, capacity planning, and supply chain readiness activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, business processes, and regulatory requirements related to production planning and inventory management.

Position Summary

Qnity is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to lead production planning and scheduling activities that ensure materials, resources, and manufacturing capacity are aligned to meet customer demand and business objectives. What You Will Do

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent).
  • Experience within the electronics, semiconductor, advanced materials, specialty chemicals, or manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and inventory optimization methodologies.
  • Experience using SAP or other enterprise planning systems.
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience supporting global manufacturing operations and supply chain networks.
  • Advanced proficiency with data analysis, forecasting tools, and Microsoft Excel.
