Job summary

A&J Plumbing and Sewer Service in Michigan seeks a licensed Master Plumber to oversee and coach 8–10 plumbers. The role focuses on residential work with some minimal commercial service, ensuring crews meet code and standards.

You will split time between the office and the field, writing estimates, training staff, and supporting plumbers to complete jobs efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

WE are a small family owned business with a need for a Master Plumber to oversee, train and coach our existing plumbers. We are actively seeking a licensed Master Plumber in the State Michigan to support a growing operation in mainly residential & minimal commercial service work. You also must have a Plumber Contractor License to apply.

This role offers consistent, daily jobs for a professional who can oversee 8-10 plumbers ensuring all residential plumbing and drain cleaning jobs is completed to code. You will split your time working in the office and working in the field supporting plumbers.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely.
• Familiarity with residential plumbing and drain cleaning experience, including teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials needed for projects.
• A valid commercial driving license is preferred for transportation of materials to job sites.
• Previous maintenance person experience or maintenance skills will be considered an asset.
