Job summary

Genentech in Holly Springs, NC, is seeking a Master Manufacturing Technician to support design, qualification, startup, and registration of high-volume packaging lines for a new drug product fill/finish facility. The role partners with MSAT, quality, supply chain, regulatory, and engineering to ensure efficient startup and transfer to steady-state operation.

The position requires a minimum high school diploma with 7+ years of related production experience or an AA degree with 5+ years in pharma

Qualifications

High School Diploma or AA degree with 5+ years of technical experience in pharma manufacturing.
Experience with SAP or ERP systems.
Experience in drug product manufacturing and/or supply chain.

Responsibilities

Support the design, qualification, start-up, and registration of the facility’s high volume packaging lines.
Provide knowledge and training on complex process and equipment technologies to partners.
Create training materials and conduct training for new hires.
Coach colleagues with less experience and help them develop skills and expertise.
Support authoring of standard operating procedures for new equipment.
Support acceptance testing to ensure equipment is suitable for end‑user execution.
After go-live, transition to a routine position on site and extend into daily operation responsibilities.
