Job summary

SSRG Midwest is seeking a skilled mason builder to turn plans into durable, precise masonry work. You will interpret blueprints, lay brick and stone, and restore structures to high standards of quality.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of masonry experience, reads blueprints well, and adheres to safety regulations on busy job sites. This role requires teamwork, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to craftsmanship.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; masonry training or certification is a plus.
3-5 years of masonry, bricklaying, or restoration experience are preferred.
Ability to read blueprints, safety procedures, and technical documents.
Experience operating masonry tools and equipment (mixers, saws, trowels, levels, power tools).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan masonry work accurately.
Measure, layout, and establish guidelines for precise construction and restoration.
Mix mortar, grout, and cement-based materials for proper application and performance.
Lay brick, block, stone, and other masonry materials to construct walls, floors, chimneys, and structural elements.
