About the Role

As a Diagnostics Technician, you'll be responsible for identifying and repairing complex vehicle issues across multiple makes and models.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics using scan tools and systematic testing procedures.
• Identify root causes of electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, and performance concerns.
• Execute mechanical repairs and corrective actions based on diagnostic findings.
• Perform inspections, maintenance services, and safety checks.
• Document findings clearly and accurately for service advisors and customers.
• Work closely with the team to improve workflow and maintain repair quality.
• Keep your work area organized and maintain a professional standard of workmanship.
• Stay current with changing automotive technology and diagnostic procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in diagnostics, electrical systems, and general automotive repair.
• Ability to diagnose concerns accurately instead of replacing parts through trial and error.
• Experience with scan tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic procedures.
• Independent shop experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record preferred.
• ASE certifications are appreciated, but proven skill and experience matter most.
