Job summary

International Diamond Center in Orlando is seeking a skilled Jeweler to join our workshop. You will restore damaged jewelry, fabricate pieces, and assess material quality, delivering precise craftsmanship with attention to detail.

The role requires hands-on experience with precious metals and gemstones, soldering, polishing, and setting, plus the ability to work independently or within a team to meet tight turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Prior professional jeweler or repair technician experience required.
• Hands-on experience with repair, restoration, fabrication, soldering, polishing, finishing, and ring sizing.
• Experience with precious metals including gold, silver, platinum.
• Knowledge of gemstones, settings, clasps, chains, rings and other components.
• Strong knowledge of repair tools, equipment, and bench jewelry techniques.
• Strong follow up, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Restore damaged or broken jewelry and maintain quick turnaround times.
• Repair clasps, pins, rings by soldering or replacing parts.
• Reshape and restyle old jewelry following designs using tools and machines.
• Adhere to safety procedures to reduce risk of accidents.
• Order and maintain jewelry supplies for workshop.
• Multitask, prioritize duties, and complete tasks timely.
• Set up a repair shop independently.
• Cut and shape precious metals into jewelry pieces.
• Resize rings made from different metals.
