Starting Hourly Rate: $28.96 per hour plus $2.00 Shift Premium upon being transferred to 3rd Shift.

GD-OTS is seeking an experienced Master Fabricator Machinist - 3rd Shift to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and seek motivated and creative individuals to support and shape our growth.

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets, with over 50 years of expertise in designing, developing, manufacturing, and testing a range of composite missile and space structures.

Position Location: This position is located at our Main Plant facility.

Major Position Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, assemble, and finish products using written instructions, drawings, techniques, tooling, materials, supplies, precision measuring devices, and tools.
  • Perform equipment setup and changeover.
  • Carry out minor maintenance duties.
  • Move parts and materials and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
  • Perform general housekeeping and janitorial duties throughout the plant, along with miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of machining experience.
