Job summary

Brick City Metals in Ocala, FL is seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our production team. You will weld and fabricate aluminum, steel and stainless components for platforms, stairs, rails and utility structures, with a hands-on focus on quality and safety.

The role sits in a high-capacity, ASIC-certified facility supporting utilities, power generation and infrastructure markets. Local candidates with 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of aluminum and steel welding/fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols.
• Local to Ocala, FL area and able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, clamp, grind, or bolt materials into proper position prior to welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, technical drawings, and work orders to plan and execute welds to specification.
• Fabricate and assemble structural components including ladders, platforms, safety cages, handrails, and related vertical access system parts.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, positioners, and fixtures; adjust settings for material type, thickness, and weld process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocols.
