Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises the work of electricians and trainees involved in the installation and repair of electrical systems, appliances and motors.
• Inspects electrical wiring and fixtures for defects according to the electrical code. Checks for violations of current electrical code and reports to proper authorities.
• Determines proper material and equipment for use by subordinates.
• Diagnoses problems with electrical systems.
• Installs and repairs electrical systems, appliances and motors.
• Runs conduits for telephones and electric circuits.
• Installs and services public address systems.
• Keeps records of electrical projects, work time records, etc.
• Checks and makes minor repairs to generators.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
