Qualifications

• Current valid Master Electrician's license as issued by the Electrician’s Examining Board.
• HV work experience and ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety precautions for high-voltage work.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and assists with designs, installation, maintenance, and emergency repairs to High Voltage (12,750 volts) and Low Voltage (<600 volts) systems.
• Installs, alters, maintains, and repairs wiring, lighting, and electrical equipment and conduits for safe operation.
• Installs, maintains and repairs electric motors and generators.
• Performs major electrical repairs on refrigeration units and other appliances to ensure safe operation.
• Maintains intercoms, controls, traffic signals, and related electrical apparatus for safe operation.
• Plans and lays out electrical jobs to estimate materials and time.
