Job summary

Anchor Glass Container LLC is seeking a Master Electrician to inspect, repair, install and wire electrical systems within our plant in Minnesota. You will read diagrams and schematics, determine parts, and perform energized work as needed.

Responsibilities include dismantling and reassembling equipment, installing conduit, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes while coordinating with maintenance teams for uninterrupted operations at our Shakopee facility.

Qualifications

• MN State Licensed Electrician in Minnesota.
• Experience inspecting, repairing, installing and wiring electrical systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install and wire all electrical apparatus and circuits in the plant.
• Analyze verbal explanations and diagrams to determine parts and procedures.
• Transport tools and materials to the work area.
• Dismantle, repair and adjust motors, switches, panels and breakers.
• Work on energized circuits as required and install conduit.
• Install fittings, controls and wiring for new installations.

We are one Anchor!**MAIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES****:**Primary Function To inspect, repair, install and wire all electrical and/or electronic apparatus, devices and circuits of any voltage in the plant.**MAIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES****:****Typical Duties*** Receive and analyze all types of verbal explanations, drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications to determine material or replacement needs, and to select the proper method or procedure for repair, replacement or for new installations.* Obtain and transport proper tools and materials to work area.* Dismantle, inspect, repair, adjust or replace faulty parts on motors, switches, control panels, generators, circuit breakers, etc. and all other electrical and/or electronic equipment in the plant.* Plan and perform work requiring a thorough working knowledge of electrical and/or electronic principles, wiring specification codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electrical and/or electronic equipment.* Reassemble, test and adjust equipment for safe and proper operation. Perform work on energized circuits as required. Measure, cut, bend, thread and install conduit.
