Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Hammond, LA is seeking a Master Level Diesel Technician. The role offers weekly pay, multiple bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

You will perform maintenance and complex repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, diagnose issues, and mentor junior technicians while adhering to safety guidelines. The schedule is Monday–Friday with weekends off, hours 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, and eligibility for medical, dental, vision, PTO from day 1, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools are required.
• Four years or more relevant work experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• Additional certifications per location may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Operate shop computers and diagnostic test equipment proficiently.
• Coach/mentor other technicians and advise on repairs.
