Job summary

TreeHouse Foods seeks a Master Data Specialist, Material & Vendor, to support the Finance team with master data management, governance, and data integrity across the organization.

The role collaborates with cross-functional partners to uphold data standards, publish data, and ensure SAP accuracy in daily operations. Hybrid work in De Pere supports SLAs and compliance while enabling process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and activate material master records per procedures and data governance requirements.
• Maintain material status throughout product lifecycle to ensure data integrity.
• Execute daily data synchronization, publication, and maintenance per GDSN/1WorldSync/GS1 Canada and SLAs.
• Process vendor creation and change requests with accuracy and approvals.
• Verify vendor requests include required approvals before SAP implementation.
• Perform data validation and quality checks for material and vendor master data.
• Provide day-to-day support to stakeholders by addressing inquiries and urgent requests.
• Support master data governance processes, policies, and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives and data projects.

Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a Master Data Specialist, Material & Vendor, to support our Finance team. The Master Data Specialist, Material & Vendor, is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of master data management activities to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of material and vendor data across the organization. This role supports master data governance processes, maintains data standards and validation rules, manages shared service mailboxes, and assists with data publishing, maintenance, and project initiatives. The Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to uphold data quality, support service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure compliance with established master data governance policies and procedures. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Create and activate material master records in accordance with established procedures, standards, and data governance requirements.
• Maintain material status throughout the product lifecycle to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Execute daily data synchronization, publication, and maintenance activities in compliance with Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), 1WorldSync, and GS1 Canada requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Process vendor creation and change requests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established quality standards.
• Verify that all vendor requests include the required approvals and supporting documentation prior to implementation in SAP.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to maintain the integrity of material and vendor master data.
• Provide day-to-day support to business stakeholders by responding to inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving urgent master data requests.
• Support master data governance processes, policies, and standards to promote consistent and reliable data management practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, process improvements, and data-related projects.
• Monitor and support compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs) and business requirements.

Important Details:

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in De Pere, WI operating on first shift. The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $19.71 - 36.54 an hour. This is the lowest to highest pay we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award or bonus.

• High school diploma required.
