Job summary

GSK in Marietta, PA is seeking a Master Data Specialist to maintain accurate material, production, and packaging data within SAP and related systems. You will partner with local and global stakeholders across Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to support new material introductions, product transfers, and lifecycle initiatives.

The role emphasizes data quality, change control, regulatory alignment, and timely project delivery in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, life sciences, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in master data, supply chain, or manufacturing support in a regulated environment.
• Practical experience with ERP systems for material and production master data, preferably SAP.
• Master's degree in related field (preferred).
• Experience with artwork management systems or packaging lifecycle platforms (preferred).
• Experience with packaging line systems (Seavision) or similar MES (preferred).
• Knowledge of GMP requirements, regulatory compliance, CAPAs, deviations, and change control processes.
• Project management experience with plans, milestones, risk, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience in a matrix environment with global/local stakeholders.
• Excel and data analysis tools proficiency.
• Strong data governance and document management understanding.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Hybrid work capability.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain master data within SAP and related systems.
• Coordinate new material introductions, product transfers, lifecycle management.
• Support NPI, process optimization, regulatory labeling changes, site performance.
• Manage packaging artwork data and approvals.
• Define change-control strategies with TLCM, Tech Transfer, QA, etc.
• Build relationships with Operations, QA, QC, Warehouse, Commercial, global teams.
• Support regulatory-driven changes and align with filings.
• Investigate and resolve master data and artwork issues.
• Participate in change controls, deviations, CAPAs, audits, continuous improvement.
• Write and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Work in GMP-compliant environment.
