Mohegan Sun is seeking a qualified culinary professional to prepare food and manage the cooking line. The role includes filling customer orders and ensuring recipes are followed to standard in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knife skills, English communication, and the ability to work across all kitchen stations are required; experience in high-volume settings is preferred.
This position prepares food for service, sets up the cooking line and prepares food in designated stations to fill customer orders. Sometimes assumes a leadership role in the absence of the Chef in charge.
Four years of culinary experience in a high volume, food and beverage operation or two years of culinary training plus two years of experience may be considered. Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English.
Understanding of health and sanitation guidelines.
