Job summary

Gray Media in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Master Control Operator to monitor live transmissions and ensure FCC compliance while preparing programming for playout.

You will log transmitter data, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate with engineering to maintain high-quality on-air output in a fast-paced broadcast environment.

Qualifications

Job Summary/Description:

Master Control Operator is responsible for monitoring the quality and accuracy of our on-air signals as well as ensuring the transmission meets government regulations and the station’s high standards. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and preparing programming for playout.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
