Software Placement Group in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking an experienced automotive technician at the A-Level to grow into leadership roles. The role focuses on advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and quality repairs in a small, experienced team.

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical abilities.
• A-Level / Master-level mechanical skills.
• Transmission experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Your own professional tools.
• ASE certifications are preferred, but proven ability matters more than certificates.

What We Offer

• Competitive Pay: $45 – $55/hour with weekly pay

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No Saturdays or Sundays)

What You’ll Work On

You’ll handle the type of work that requires real experience and diagnostic ability, focusing on quality over rushing cars through the shop:

• Advanced vehicle diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting

• Drivability concerns

• Transmission diagnosis, repair, and replacement

• Engine diagnosis and major mechanical repair

• Complex repairs other technicians may not be equipped to handle

• General A-Level automotive repair when needed

You’ll have the independence to diagnose vehicles properly and recommend the right repair every time.
