Job summary

Midas Auto Experts is seeking a Master Technician (A Tech) to work independently and with peers in a full-service shop. You will diagnose, inspect, and repair a wide range of automotive systems, using ASE knowledge and diagnostic tools to ensure quality results.

The position requires strong attention to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction, with opportunities to mentor junior techs. As part of our team you’ll lead by example, perform thorough courtesy checks, and uphold high standards

Qualifications

ASE certification preferred but not required.
Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with diagnostic equipment and able to read service manuals.

Responsibilities

Perform a thorough visual safety and courtesy inspection.
Identify mechanical problems visually or with diagnostic equipment.
Test components and systems to ensure proper operation.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tune-ups.
Repair or replace faulty parts and systems (brakes, belts, water pumps, transmissions, motors).
Welding knowledge beneficial.
Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs.
Lead a shop to success.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
