Job summary

Grand Rapids GM is seeking an A-level Automotive Technician to join our service department in Grand Rapids, MN. You will diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and driveline components to deliver quality service.

This full-time, in-person role offers a pay range of $53,000 to $165,000+ per year, with performance incentives and a $2,600 annual tool allowance. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, SIMPLE IRA with employer matching, paid training, flexible

Qualifications

• Advanced diagnostic and repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and driveline components.
• High school diploma or equivalent with specialized technical training.
• Proficiency with automotive tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and driveline components.
• Perform suspension and steering repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair emissions systems and electronic engine controls.
• Complete engine overhauls and related component repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet equipment, including refrigerated units and lift gates.
• Document work performed on repair orders and maintain a clean workspace.
