Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care in Murray, UT, is seeking a Master Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair today’s complex vehicle systems and lead the technical team. You will work in a clean, professional shop and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with electrical diagnostics and drivability repairs.
EPA Section 609 Air Conditioning Certification required.
ASE Master Technician Certification preferred.
State Inspection License where applicable.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to complete pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair engine performance concerns.
Perform advanced electrical and computer diagnostics.
Repair steering, suspension and brake systems.
Diagnose drivability concerns.
Perform air conditioning and heating system repairs.
Complete engine repairs and mechanical diagnostics.
Perform factory-recommended maintenance services.
Utilize scan tools and service information to diagnose vehicle concerns.
Mentor and assist fellow technicians with advanced diagnostics.
Communicate inspection findings and repair recommendations with service advisors.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety and environmental procedures.
