Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Master Automotive Technician who enjoys solving difficult problems and takes pride in quality workmanship. You will work with a professional team in a clean, organized shop.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing engine performance concerns, electrical diagnostics, steering, suspension and brakes, drivability, A/C and maintenance services, using scan tools and service information.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• EPA 609 Air Conditioning Certification is required.
• ASE Master Technician Certification (A1-A8) preferred; state inspection license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine performance concerns.
• Perform advanced electrical and computer diagnostics.
• Repair steering, suspension and brake systems.
• Diagnose drivability concerns.
• Perform air conditioning and heating system repairs.
• Complete engine repairs and mechanical diagnostics.
• Perform factory-recommended maintenance services.
• Mentor and assist fellow technicians with advanced diagnostics and repair procedures.
• Communicate inspection findings and repair recommendations with service advisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety and environmental procedures.
