Qualifications

• Proven experience as an auto body technician, mechanic, or collision repair specialist.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, frame repair, and body panel replacement.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including engines, brakes, and suspension.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, frame machines, and body shop equipment.
• ASE certification or I-CAR training is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairs
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues including engine, suspension, and brake systems
• Prep vehicles for paint including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
• Conduct frame straightening and alignment using industry-standard equipment
• Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Communicate repair status and findings with service advisors and customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
