Job summary

The US Navy is seeking personnel for the Master-at-Arms role to provide security, anti-terrorism, and policing across bases, ships, and expeditionary environments. You will train, perform patrols, and respond to incidents while maintaining weapons and equipment in readiness.

You will rotate shifts, including nights and weekends, with evolving responsibilities and opportunities to specialize as patrol supervisor, investigator, or kennel master, across domestic and overseas assignments.

Qualifications

• All Navy jobs require meeting general enlistment standards and successful background checks.
• Must meet age, medical, vision, and physical fitness standards for enlisted service.
• Eligibility for security clearance may be required for certain billets.
• Willingness to deploy and work rotating shifts including nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct antiterrorism and force protection patrols on installations and piers.
• Stand sentry, control access, inspect vehicles and personnel for contraband.
• Enforce regulations, respond to incidents, collect evidence, and prepare reports.
• Operate and maintain small arms and security vehicles; train junior personnel.
• Support harbor security, escorts, and expeditionary security missions.
