Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Lead Specialist, MAST Application Penetration Testing Manager to join our Managed Services practice in the Orlando area. The role involves directing application penetration testing teams, engaging with clients, and guiding remediation strategies while fostering team growth.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on testing leadership, deep tool experience (AppScan, BurpSuite, Veracode, ZAP, etc.), and strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum five years of application penetration testing leadership in a consulting environment
• Experience with tools such as AppScan, Netsparker, Acunetix, ZAP, Veracode, BurpSuite or equivalents; reporting results and leading remediation conversations
• Certifications in ethical hacking or security frameworks (e.g., CISSP, GWAPT, CREST, OSWE/OSWA) preferred
• Experience in mobile app testing, code development, manual code analysis and/or static analysis preferred
• Ability to travel as required
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for application penetration testing teams to grow the services solution and manage client engagements; demonstrate exceptional capability in manual testing
• Lead client engagements and provide technical leadership to team members on testing engagements
• Promote and enable thought leadership, growth and learning amongst team members
• Engage with non-technical audiences around testing processes and techniques, report read-outs, and guide remediation options
• Partner with Cyber teams to develop new testing techniques, automation, and marketing collateral; mentor onshore and offshore team members
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and uphold a respectful work environment
