Job summary

HealthFitness is looking for an experienced Massage Therapist to provide chair massages at our corporate client site in Los Angeles, California. This is an on-call/substitute position working on an as needed basis.

Minimum requirements include a California Massage Therapy License, CPR/AED and First Aid, and 2+ years of massage experience; on-site chair massage in a corporate setting is expected along with sports massage experience preferred.

• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from recognized providers required prior to start date.
• 2+ years of massage therapy experience required.
• Experience in sports massage techniques.
• Good communication skills; listening and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair massages at our corporate client site in Los Angeles.
• Deliver on-site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down).

About the role

HealthFitness is looking for an experienced Massage Therapist to provide chair massages at our corporate client site in Los Angeles, California.

This is an on-call/substitute position working on an as needed basis.

Responsible for administering professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.
• General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.
• Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa like environment within a fitness center.
• Must function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies.

Minimum Requirements

• Massage Therapy License for the state of California required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• 2+ years of massage therapy experience required.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Experience in sports massage techniques.
• Good communication skills; listening and verbal.
