HealthFitness has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Massage Therapist to join our team at a premier client site in Scranton, PA. In this role, you’ll provide professional massage services that support the health, wellness, and overall well-being of members and guests.

This role offers a flexible schedule, with services provided 1-2 times per month, preferably on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, for 4-6 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Massage Therapy License for the state of Pennsylvania (required).
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from recognized organizations.
• 2+ years of massage therapy experience.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.
• Experience in sports massage techniques.
• Good communication skills; listening and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage services for members and guests.
• Provide on-site chair massage in corporate settings and spa-like environments within a fitness center.

HealthFitness has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Massage Therapist to join our team at a premier client site in Scranton, PA. In this role, you’ll provide professional massage services that support the health, wellness, and overall well-being of members and guests.

This is an ideal opportunity for a skilled therapist looking for a flexible schedule, with services provided 1-2 times per month , preferably on Tuesdays or Wednesdays , for 4-6 hours per day.

Responsible for administering professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.
• General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.
• Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa like environment within a fitness center.
• Must function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies.

Minimum Requirements

• Massage Therapy License for the state of Pennsylvania required.
• Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
• 2+ years of massage therapy experience required.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Experience in sports massage techniques.
• Good communication skills; listening and verbal.
