Job summary

Hand and Stone Rockville is hiring massage therapists to deliver professional massage services tailored to client needs, ensuring a relaxing and premium experience for members and guests. You will create personalized treatment plans, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to a clean, professional spa environment.

The role requires a current massage therapist license, liability insurance, and knowledge of Swedish massage; training in other modalities is provided.

Qualifications

• Current Massage Therapist License in good standing.
• Carrying massage liability insurance is required.
• Knowledge of Swedish Massage is required; other modalities training provided.

Requirements:

• Adhere to all massage therapy licensing laws and regulations.
• Current Massage Therapist License in good standing.
• Carry massage liability insurance.
• Strong technical massage skills and knowledge of various modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes weekends.
• Knowledge of Swedish Massage is required.
• Knowledge of other modalities (e.g., Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Prenatal, Trigger Point, Reiki, etc.) is a plus but not required—we provide training in all modalities!
• Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
