Job summary

The NOW Massage in Los Angeles area is hiring massage therapists. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

You will provide therapeutic massage using Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, and other techniques, while ensuring a clean, well‑supplied treatment room. Candidates must hold a CAMTC certificate, maintain it, and demonstrate excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• CAMTC certification is required and must be presented during interview and maintained throughout employment.
• Experience or knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue massage.
• Familiarity with multiple modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.).
• Excellent guest service skills and the ability to maintain guest safety and comfort.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays; ability to stand and move for extended periods.

Schedule / Expected Work Hours

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays
• Availability for at least one PM and one-weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Share the healing power of touch to inspire and transform through the benefits of massage therapy.
• Provide therapeutic massage through a variety of modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.)
• Maintain service room to standards. All supplies are provided.
• Full and Part-Time positions available.
• Will consider qualified candidates beginning their careers in massage therapy who possess the right qualities and demonstrate an innate talent for and understanding of therapeutic massage.

Position Requirements

• California Massage Therapy Counsel (CAMTC) certification required. Must present a certificate during the interview process and maintain it throughout employment if hired.
• Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage.
• Knowledge of other modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.).
• Understand and believe in the benefits of massage therapy.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Close physical contact with guests through massage services.
• Ensuring the physical safety and comfort of guests and team members.
• Dedicated professional that is motivated and has a great positive attitude.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work at least one PM and one weekend shift
• Physical demands of the job include:
  • Must be able to stand and exert well‑paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill room resetting tasks and all massage service protocols. Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
    • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
• This position may involve additional duties as necessary to maintain operational efficiency and security
