Job summary

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking a full-time Massage Therapist to deliver massage therapy and bodywork, learning Miraval treatments and ensuring guest comfort in a luxury spa setting.

Requirements include Texas massage license, CPR/First Aid, 2+ years of spa experience, and open availability Fri-Mon. Benefits include iAm Days, tuition reimbursement, Hyatt nights, health/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, family leave, meals, stock plan.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Texas State Massage Therapy license (TDLR).
• Provide Miraval brand standard modalities.
• Strong time management, problem solving and communication skills.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on guest satisfaction in a luxury spa.
• Capability to perform 20/50/75/80/100-minute services with varying cleanup times.
• Shift lengths are 5 hours with no break, or 7 hours with minimum 30-minute break.
• Ability to perform 6 to 7 hours of hands-on massage per shift.
• Solutions oriented approach to problem solving.
• CPR/First Aid certificate or obtain within 1 month of hire.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Minimum of two years of massage therapy experience at a resort/destination spa or day spa.
• Friday - Monday availability is required.

Qualifications

Our Massage Therapists manage the delivery of massage therapy and bodywork services, perform a variety of massage techniques on guests, and work to create a nurturing experience. Therapists will be responsible for learning treatments specific to Miraval and all pertinent product lines.

• Must hold current Texas State Massage Therapy license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
• Requirement to provide a specific list of Miraval brand standard modalities.
• Effective time management, problem solving and communication skills are essential.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays isrequired.
• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on guest satisfaction in a luxury spa environment.
• Capable of dealing with stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Ability to perform a variety of 20/50/75/80/100-minute services with clean up times varying from 10 minutes to 20 minutes depending on service length.
• Shift lengthsis 5 hours with no break, or 7 hours with minimum 30-minute break.
• Capacity to perform 6 to 7 hours of hands-on massage during a scheduled shift.
• Solutions oriented approach to problem solving.
• Possess a current CPR/First Aid certificate or can receive this certificate within 1 month of hire.
• A professional demeanor and appearance.
• Minimum of two years of experience in massage therapy at a resort/destination spa or day spa.
• Friday - Monday availability isrequired
