HealthFitness has an excellent opportunity for a fill-in/as-needed Massage Therapist at our client site in Cambridge, MA. You will administer professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests in a fitness center and spa-like setting.

The role requires a MA Massage Therapy License, CPR/AED, First Aid, and 2+ years of experience within the first 30 days of hire. On-site work, with potential limited travel for events, is expected.

About The Role

Key Accountabilities

• Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.
• General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.
• Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa like environment within a fitness center.
• Must function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies.

Minimum Requirements

• Massage Therapy License for the state of Massachusetts required.
• Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
• 2+ years of massage therapy experience required within first 30 days of hire.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Experience in sports massage techniques.
• Good communication skills; listening and verbal.

The compensation for this role is commission-based. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
