Massage therapy can make a meaningful difference when patients are experiencing pain, anxiety, limited mobility, or the stress that often comes with illness and hospitalization.
We are seeking a compassionate and clinically minded Massage Therapist to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. In this unique hospital-based role, you’ll provide therapeutic massage to patients with a wide range of medical needs, adapting your approach to each individual’s condition, treatment plan, comfort level, and goals.
This is an opportunity to take your massage therapy practice beyond the traditional setting and become part of a collaborative care team focused on treating the whole person.
As a Hospital-Based Massage Therapist, you will:
Depending on program needs, you may have the opportunity to support patients in areas such as medical-surgical care, oncology, rehabilitation, maternity, palliative care, and employee wellness.
You’ll be successful in this role if you bring a calm, compassionate presence to every interaction and understand that no two patients—or treatment sessions—will be exactly alike.
You should be comfortable using clinical judgment, adapting quickly, communicating with a multidisciplinary team, and providing hands-on care in an environment where patient needs can change rapidly.
Most importantly, you’ll understand that sometimes the greatest impact comes from helping someone feel more comfortable, less anxious, and cared for during a difficult moment.
This position provides care within a hospital environment, including patient rooms and clinical units. The role involves interaction with patients experiencing both acute and chronic medical conditions and requires standing, bending, and sustained physical activity while providing massage therapy.
