Job summary

Serenity in the City Salon and Spa Inc is a thriving spa near Boston, seeking massage therapists to join our Medford and Stoneham teams. We offer full-time or part-time positions with opportunities for commission on product sales and a patient-focused approach to wellness.

You will provide 30-90 minute deep tissue massages, assess client history, guide clients to the best service, and help determine when to return for future sessions. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold MA Professional Massage License valid and current.
• Training provided.

Job Description

Serenity in the City is a thriving spa in business for 24 years with two locations. We are growing our wellness offerings in both locations, located 3-6 miles north of Boston. Serenity is looking to add to our growing team of talent! This role can be hourly or commission.

Responsibilities

• Able to provide 30-90 minute massages to clients scheduled in advance. Must perform deep tissue.
• Guide clients in choosing the massage that would benefit them most
• Understand the client's history when it comes to injuries and medical conditions
• Listen to the client's requests throughout the service
• Suggest when the client should be seen next and how often they should be getting a massage
• Comfortable selling products. Commissions are paid on this.

Requirements

Your MA Professional Massage License must be valid and current. We will provide training.
