Job summary

Altru Health System in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Massage Therapist to deliver professional massage therapy services at the Truyu Aesthetic Center. You will maintain sales and service goals, promote massage therapy, and collaborate with the team to meet department budgets.

Certification by the North Dakota Board of Massage Therapy, BLS certification within 90 days of start, and English proficiency are required; minimum 1 year related experience is preferred. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Summary: *** This role is eligible for a $10,000 Sign-on bonus *** *Individuals participating in Altru educational sponsorship or apprenticeship programs are not eligible to receive any additional recruitment incentives.

The Massage Therapist performs professional and safe massage therapy services to clients. The therapist is responsible for maintaining appropriate sales and service goals and collaborating with the team to accomplish department budget goals.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assists with the marketing and promoting of massage therapy at Truyu.
• Orients clients/patients to the purpose and procedures of the massage therapy treatment.
• Demonstrates knowledge and application of appropriate massage therapy techniques.
• Reassesses clients/patients response to massage therapy as needed and modifies accordingly.
• Keeps up-to-date on the industry and recommends new treatments, procedures and products.
• Cross sells and refers to other Truyu services and products.
• Follows preventative maintenance plan of all equipment and demonstrates understanding and follows infection control policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
