Job Summary

The Massage Therapist will give personalized care to patients who are suffering from acute pain post‑traumatic injury. The patients are prescribed massage therapy by the treating chiropractor, and the successful Massage Therapist will build rapport with these patients, and furthermore improve their overall quality of life through effective treatment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare the massage room
• Sanitize the massage room in between patients and at the end of a shift
• Communicate with patients, coworkers, and ordering Chiropractor
• Deliver personalized care to patients, depending on their injuries and needs
• Assist the Team in any way possible during down time
• Arrive to work punctually
• Utilize UKG for time‑keeping
• Other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

• Active Idaho Massage Therapy license required
• Experience working with musculoskeletal injuries
• At least two years of experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of activity
• Physical strength and stamina – to comfortably massage patients for 50 minutes at a time
• Ability to massage for the entirety of a shift

Physical/Mental Requirements: Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.
