JOB SUMMARY

The Massage Therapist provides massage and body treatments at the property, delivering a restorative, personalized experience for every guest. This role performs a range of treatments, conducts consultations, and maintains a serene, professional environment. The Massage Therapist contributes directly to guest satisfaction and the property’s wellness reputation. Working closely with the spa team, this position delivers exceptional care.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications

• One or more years of professional massage therapy experience, skilled in various modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue), and ability to customize treatments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Language requirements are confirmed by property at the time of posting.
• Current massage therapy license or certification as required to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Massage training and proficiency in one or more modalities.
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a resort or day spa.
• Proficiency in multiple modalities.
• Bilingual ability appropriate to the property’s guests.

FUNDAMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Perform massage and body treatments to standard and to guest needs.
• Conduct guest consultations and personalize treatments safely.
• Maintain a calm, professional, and welcoming treatment environment.
• Maintain treatment rooms, linens, and equipment to standard.
• Recommend retail products and services appropriately.
• Maintain sanitation and hygiene per health regulations.
• Maintain required licenses and continuing education.
• Document treatments and guest preferences accurately.
• Respond to guest needs and any concerns professionally.
• Support the spa team and smooth appointment flow.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Stand and perform hands‑on treatments for extended periods.
• Apply sustained manual pressure and perform repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder motions.
• Stand and move for the majority of the shift between treatments.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds, including linens and supplies.
• Work in warm, low‑light treatment rooms.
