We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The Massage Therapist will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific pain management and relaxation needs.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
• Perform various types of massage therapies, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Myofascial Release, and Sports Massage.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in client condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide education to clients on self-care techniques, stretching exercises, and pain management strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers in occupational health settings or med spa environments as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong portfolio of techniques including but not limited to deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, Myofascial Release, Cupping, Facilitated Stretching, Medical Massage, and acute pain management.
• Familiarity with patient assessment protocols and physical examinations is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within a clinical setting.
• Understanding of pain management practices and the ability to apply them in therapeutic settings.
• Experience working in med spas or occupational health environments is a plus.
