Job summary

The Duke Center for Living at Fearrington is seeking a NC licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist to join as a contractor within our medically based wellness facility in the Galloway Ridge community, Chatham County.

The therapist will provide multiple modalities of therapeutic massage to a senior population, deliver customer service with compassion, educate the public about massage benefits, and promote DCFL programming within the center and surrounding campus.

Qualifications

• North Carolina license required.
• Minimum 6 months of practical experience.
• Experience with senior populations preferred.
• CPR/AED certification within 3 months of hire.
• Experience with additional massage modalities preferred.

Description

The Duke Center for Living at Fearrington is accepting applications for a Massage Therapist (Contractor). The Duke Center for Living is a medically based wellness facility set within the upscale retirement community of Galloway Ridge in Chatham County. We are seeking a NC Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist with skills in multiple modalities of therapeutic massage. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, experience working with a senior population, and experience educating the general public about the benefits of massage therapy. They will assist in promoting the Duke Center for Living at Fearrington Therapeutic Massage program within the center and Galloway Ridge as needed to grow and sustain the program.

Requirements

• North Carolina Massage and Bodywork License.
• A minimum of six months of practical experience, or an equivalent combination of training and related experience.
• Experience with the senior population and other special populations preferred.
• CPR/AED certified within three months of hire.
• Additional modalities of therapeutic massage preferred.
