Job summary

Westgate Park City Resort & Spa is seeking a Massage Therapist to help guests relax and recharge in our world-class spa environment. You will deliver professional massage and body treatments while upholding spa protocols and guest care standards.

Training starts at $17.00 per hour with a 28% commission and 20% auto gratuity; Daily Pay is available to access earnings as you need them. Weekend availability and Utah licensing are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass a background screen and drug test.
• Utah licensing to practice massage must be met.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual for each appointment and complete services within designated time frames.
• Provide consistent, professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols.
• Inform guests on wellness concerns and service options.
• Prepare rooms and restock between appointments.
• Promote spa services, treatments, and retail products.
• Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Description

What You'll Do as a Massage Therapist:

As a Massage Therapist at Westgate Resortsyou will help guests relax, recharge, and feel their best. In our world-class spa environment, you can focus on your craft while providing an exceptional experience every time.You will demonstrateWestgate's core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethicin every interaction with guests and team members.

• Be prompt for each appointment and complete services within designated time frames.
• Provide consistent, professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and certification standards.
• Inform and educate guests on wellness concerns and service options.
• Properly care for equipment and use appropriate amounts of products to support cost control.
• Maintain complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
• Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as required by law and spa policies.
• Prepare rooms, clean and restock as needed between appointments.
• Communicate to management any staff or guest issues requiring attention.
• Actively promote spa services, treatments, retail products, and available programs or promotions.
• Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to all guest requests.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a high-quality work environment.
• Participate in and support ongoing training and staff meetings.
• Assist in all areas of spa operations as requested by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or general education degree GED.
• The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Follow instructions without close supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must meet all licensing requirements to practice in the state of Utah.
