Job summary

Heart to Heart Hospice is seeking a Massage Therapist to provide patient-centered massage therapy under an IDG care plan. The role emphasizes program initiation, collaboration with staff and family, and adherence to care standards within a hospice setting.

The candidate should have active massage therapy licensing in Indiana, at least one year of experience, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and basic EMR familiarity to document care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Massage Therapist in the state of employment.
• Minimum of one year of massage therapy experience; healthcare preferred.
• Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Must have current driver’s license.
• Experience with EMR software is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and ongoing auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy to patients according to written IDG plan of care.
• Initiate massage therapy programs and instruct other staff and family members on these programs and goals.
• Perform assessments, evaluations and establish therapeutic and functional goals for clients.
• Advise RN Case Manager on patient's response to therapy or changes in condition.
• Promote agency philosophy to ensure quality of care.
• Timely submission of all documentation.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and policies.

What You Must Have:
