Job summary

XCAL Spa seeks a dedicated Massage Therapist to provide a range of massage modalities to our members, tailored to individual needs. You will educate clients on the benefits of massage and spa products while building lasting client relationships, within a clean, professional club environment.

You will be expected to stay updated on licensure requirements, techniques, and industry trends, and to contribute to a welcoming, premium guest experience with a focus on massage efficacy and wellness.

Qualifications

• Licensure in massage therapy as required by state.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to perform all massage modalities listed by licensure.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and client notes.

Responsibilities

• Greet members warmly and provide professional massage services.
• Deliver individualized sessions meeting clients' needs and expectations.
• Build and maintain personalized relationships with clients.
• Educate clients on XCAL Spa products and services.
• Maintain spa appearance and cleanliness to professional standards.
• Act as an expert in muscle and body analysis and maintenance regimens.

Massage Therapist

Position Summary

The Massage Therapist provides various massage therapy services and treatments that compliments fitness programs, improves overall sense of well-being, and enhances the guest's overall experience. They work to build relationships with other departments in the club and educate on benefits of massage therapy. They are responsible for designing sessions around guests' specific needs and suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions. They work with the XCAL Spa team to provide a superior experience in a professional atmosphere.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Massage Therapy License
• Ability to perform all types of massage therapy services and treatments
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions
• Knowledge of basic PC operating
• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift and move up to 50 pounds

Preferred Requirements

• 2 years of massage experience in a professional environment
• Knowledge of body treatments
