A nationally recognized AmLaw 100 law firm with a thriving litigation practice is seeking an experienced attorney to join its highly regarded Mass Tort and Product Liability Group. The firm represents leading manufacturers, retailers, and self-insured companies in sophisticated, high-exposure litigation nationwide and offers a collaborative environment with a strong path to long-term partnership.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 4+ years of complex litigation experience to join an established, nationally recognized practice handling high-stakes product liability, mass tort, class action, and other complex disputes. The team serves as national coordinating counsel and lead trial counsel across multiple jurisdictions, offering exposure to sophisticated matters involving complex scientific and technical issues.

The firm is considering mid-level or senior associate candidates, of counsel, and junior partner candidates. Attorneys will have the opportunity to assume substantial responsibility, develop client relationships, work alongside industry leaders, and build a long-term career with a path to equity partnership.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex product liability, mass tort, class action, and other high-stakes litigation.
• Manage multiple phases of litigation, including case strategy, written discovery, depositions, expert discovery, motion practice, hearings, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Assist with national litigation strategy, venue analysis, expert development, bellwether selection, trial, and appeals.
• Defend manufacturers, retailers, and self-insured companies in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
• Work collaboratively with experienced litigators and contribute to client development and relationship management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in complex product liability, mass tort, class action, or other high-stakes litigation.
• Strong academic credentials, including graduation in the top 20% of the class from a first-tier law school.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Experience across multiple phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Trial experience or a judicial clerkship preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
