Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Mass Tort Litigation Attorney in Fort Myers, FL. The attorney will manage diverse litigation tasks, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and supporting trial preparation. Collaboration with paralegals and case managers will ensure compliance with court orders and firm standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a JD and admission to at least one U.S. state bar, with experience in complex litigation and mentoring others.

Qualifications

• JD required.
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• Experience with complex litigation preferred.
• Experience mentoring and supervising others preferred.
• Experience using CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw and Litify.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for mass tort matters.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings and substantive motions.
• Ensure compliance with case management and scheduling orders.
• Monitor and implement developments in MDL/coordinated proceedings.
• Provide direction to paralegals and case managers on litigation tasks.
• Identify and develop liability and damages proof.
• Assess and recommend appropriate venue and jurisdiction for filing.
• Support settlement and resolution efforts.
