Job summary

American International Group, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Claims Analyst in Mass Tort and Complex Coverage to handle sophisticated litigation and coverage issues across GL and Environmental policies.

You will evaluate coverage, hire and manage counsel, assess damages with experts, and formulate strategies for favorable resolutions, while advising partners on emerging risks and exposures. This role focuses on long-tail bodily injury, property damage, construction defect, PFAS

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Legal, Insurance, Construction Defect or Environmental experience preferred.
• The ability to handle complex claims involving diverse coverage issues related to GL and Environmental policies.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, along with excellent communication, negotiation and investigation skills.

You’ll handle emerging risks; this team has been at the forefront of managing exposures from PFAS, opioids, and other cutting-edge issues. You’ll also be a coverage resource for Casualty adjusters, managers and underwriters. For positions based in Illinois, the base salary range is $72,500-$96,700 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
